ISP500 JOURNEY

Assalamualikum to my readers out there welcome to my ISP 500 journey. Before I continue on this journey, let me introduce myself first. First of all, my name is Harith and people call me "Haa". I pursue my study in Bachelor of Information Systems (Hons.)  Intelligent System Engineering. Currently, I am in part 3 and ISP 500 is one of my subjects in this programme. ISP is Information System Programme where ISP 500 teach me a lot about systems, we know a system is an arrangement some of the parts gives the system its identity. As we know Information system collects, processes, stores, analyzes and disseminates information for a specific purpose. One of the purpose, why I pursue these studies, is because a student with an IT background has a lot of benefits which are, I will be aware of new technology, understand more in behind of IT applications and it also has a high opportunity in employment which is high demand job nowadays especially in our country, a developing country.  According to the U.S. News & World Report, in the top 30 jobs, there are four jobs with an IT background which are computer system analyst, software developer, web developer and IT manager. This makes me become really passionate about learning this course.

Let's continue with the picture I state above, we from group D-FEHZ had an interview with Mr Shahrul, who is the franchise manager of Bateriku at Semenyih, Negeri Sembilan. We use Google Meet as our platform for the interview session. He was a former manager at Maybank, but he was determined to become an entrepreneur and he is a very kind guy which willing spends his time interviewing with us. During the interview, he explained the flow of Bateriku working and how Bateriku gain profits during a pandemic. Moreover, he shares with us his turning point before opening a business even he already is 25 years employer at Maybank. Hence, he also give us some motivation and inspired us to become an entrepreneur in future. This kind of session made me realize, we should determine our passion even it is hard at the first step.
